Mangalore: Former CM DV Sadananda Gowda has said that he has no wish to occupy the post of State BJP President.
Speaking to reporters in Mangalore on Friday, Gowda clarified that he was not eying the post. At the same time he said he was ready to take up the responsibility if the party chose him thinking him fit for the post.
Gowda was also critical of Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje and said she was making contradictory statements. Gowda said he had wanted to appoint a Lokayukta during his tenure. He also stated that he would have remained the chief minister of the state if he had encouraged corruption.
