Mangaluru : Notorious criminal Shammi alias Shammi Katipalla (30) who was wanted in over 10 cases and was also an accused in the case of attcking an ASI, has been arrested on Wednesday.

A police team Panambur Anti Rowdy Squad and Panambur Station led by officer Belliappa nabbed the accused.

Shameer is facing the charges of attacking lorry drivers in Panambur area and fleeing after robbing them. He was even avoiding appearing before the court despite several warrants.
