Mangalore: Fifty students of the NSS of Milagres Pre-Unversity College are on a service mission this Dasara holidays as part of the Annual NSS  camp being held at Neermarga.

Mohan Krishna Nambiar, NSS   Programme Officer of the College, John Pais,Lecturers, Siggi Perumayyan, and Jane Saldanha, Lecturers, are guiding the students.

The volunteers were seen cleaning up the area, pulling out weeds,  closing potholes, repairing gutters and other works

Joe D’Souza, a NRI from US gave a motivational talk to the volunteers. Neermarga Gram Panchayat President Yashoda, Vice President Oswald Pinto, and Committee member Abdul Hameed  appreciated the activities of the NSS students and wished them success.
