Mangalore: Curtains will be drawn on the Anti-Dowry Campaign launched by the National Women’s Front (NWF) with the holding of a conference on ‘Women-Dowry-Empowerment’ at the Town Hall in Mangalore on May 21. A.S Zainab from Kerala, National Vice President of NWF, will inaugurate the conference.

This was informed by Shahida A, State President of NWF at a press meet in Mangalore on May 18, Friday.

National Vice President of NWF Shahida Tasneem, will preside over the valedictory ceremony. Representatives from various women’s organizations will take part in the conference.

Gulzar Banu, Mangalore Mayor, Bharathi, Sub-inspector of Police, Nusrath Jahan Kashimji, advocate, Zohra Abbas, Principal, Badriya PU College, Krishnapura and   Kavitha, Member of  Kerala State Committee of NWF will participate in the conference among others.
