Mangalore: Ocean Pearl one of Mangalore’s well-known hotel which is known for its great food and ambience will be upgraded into a 5 star Delux Hotel within the next 12 to 15 months, complete with a state-of-the-art Spa and swimming pool and an ultra-modern (rooftop transparently covered) kitchen under the skies giving a surreal experience. Land has been identified and acquired for the Spa and Swimming Pool, once completed, it will be the first five star hotel of this coastal city.
Informing this to reporters, BN Girish, General Manager of the Hotel, said a series of mega-food festivals featuring ethnic cuisine from different parts of India and the world coming up in the next few months. He informed that Trip Advisor, the world’s largest, most credible and most followed travel website has rated, “The Ocean Pearl as No 1 hotel” in Mangalore for 2012.
Khau Gali at Sagar Ratna
Ocean Pearl “Khau Gali”, is organizing a two week long food fest from March 20 to April 5, in its vegetarian restaurant Sagar Ratna. This fest will give Mangaloreans an opportunity to discover the varied flavours of the street food of the North.
The main delicacies will be dahi papdi chaat, Dahi Pakodi, Raj Kachori, Dilli University ke Bread Pakode, Kishan Chacha Ke Chole Kulche , Redi Ke Dahi Bhalle, Aloo Tikki Chole, Samose Chole, Khasta Kachori Chole,to name a few
Master Chef of Ocean Pearl Asif and Front Office Manager Milan Sammuel were also present.
