Mangaluru : After a derogatory comment on Hindu deity’s Ullal police have arrested a man from Thokkottu on the charges of circulating  it on social media.

The accused identified as Swaliz Iqbal (45) was arrested on Saturday.

The video of the derogatory comment had initially gone viral following which an audio clip of the same comment also made rounds in social media.

He also commented Rama. Ramakrishna and Basavanna is a human, not god. Why do we need to greet Hindu festivals.

Following this, members of Hindu outfit had lodged a complaint at the Bantwal police station.
