Kumbla: Kerala former CM Oommen Chandy took a bus ride. As he missed the train he decided to take a ride in bus. The people inside the bus including bus staff were shocked after seeing former CM in the bus. He mingled with other passengers like a common man.

He visited Kollam to take part in public programmes. He took train t travel from Tiruvanthapuram to Kollam. He took part in commemoration programme of former Congress leader Kurumavil Sukumaran, and then he reached the Kollam railway station to catch the train to Tiruvananthapuram.

Without any hesitation he straight away went to the bus stand and he board the bus which was about to leave to Tiruvananthapuram. He sat behind driver’s seat. Other passengers were shocked after seeing Oomen Chandy in the same bus. Many approached him and spoke to him. He responded to the questions of the public positively, without any exaggeration.

As he had MLA bus pass, he didn’t take his ticket. Upon getting the information media personnel also boarded the bus and captured the moment in their cameras.
