Kasargod : Onam, the festival of the Keralites signifying peace and harmony is being celebrated across the state today with fervour.

Special poojas and prayers were offered in various shrines in Kasargod district. Devotees were seen queued up before the temple since morning.

Onam is also famous for a variety of delicacies. A variety of entertainment and sports events were also held.

All Keralite houses had the flower Rangoli Pookkalam in front of the houses.
