Mangalore : In a bike and KSRTC Volvo bus accident, one man died and other four were injured near Kottara Chowkie Flyover on April 8 Sunday.

The deceased is identified as MRPL surveyor Rupesh Shetty (26), who was on his way to home after the night shift in his bike.

The one is seriously injured are taking treatment at AJ Hospital, while the other three passengers of KSRTC are escaped with minor injuries.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus was on the wrong side and in a desperate attempt to avoid hitting the bike, the driver lost control of the bus, which rolled over on one side.

The bus was on its way to Mangalore from Bangalore.
