Bengaluru : National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell, Bangalore University in Commemorating 75 Years of Indian Independence is organising daily online lecture series under the title of “Vichara Kalarava” (Spreading intellectual Information).Hon’ble Justice Santhosh Hegde Former Judge, Supreme Court of India & Former Lokayukta, Govt.of Karnataka will be inaugurating by delivering First Lecture on the topic “Good Governance in Democracy” on 31st May, 2021 at 5.30 p.m.

The Lecture Series will be presided by Prof. K R Venugopal Vice Chancellor of Bangalore University and Chief Guest will be Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, I.A.S. Additional Chief Secretary Department of Youth and Sports Government of Karnataka and Mr. PrathapLingia, State NSS Officer, Government of Karnataka will be present and NSS Co-ordinator of all universities of Karnataka, NSS Programme officers of affiliated colleges, NSS Volunteers, Academia and students across the country and members of the media will be participating in the lecture Series.

Dr. N. Sathish Gowda Co-ordinator of NSS Bangalore University said that in forth coming lecture seriesresource persons will be discoursing on important topics such as Indian Constitution and Consittutuent Assembly, Women, children, disabled, labours, consumers rights, Cyber Crime, Role of bureaucrats, judiciary, Media, law makers, panchayat in ensuring good governance, Personality Development lectures Food diet, Ayurveda, health tips Literatures, culture, language etc. by inviting eminent resource persons like judges, vice chancellors, bureaucrats, NGO’s, doctors, advocates, professors, police officers etc.Further, these lectures will make NSS Volunteers, students and academia more active during this pandemic he added in the press release.
