Mangaluru: “Process of issuing Above Poverty Line (APL) cards to public will be commenced soon in the areas where internet facility is availed. Within 15days the family will be provided with permanent APL card,” said Minister for food and civil supplies U T Khader.
After inaugurating the stalls which informs about the various schemes of the government at Karavali Uthsav Ground on Wednesday he said that BPL cards will be issued in urban areas soon and about issuing it in rural areas discussions are going on.
“Pro-people governance has been provided by the state government led by CM Siddaramaiah. In last three years we have succeeded to fulfil 65 percent of given promises. Title deeds have given to the people who have built their houses in government areas under 94c and 94cc schemes,” he said.
He further said that in next assembly session issue of providing title deeds to the families who are living in private areas by paying rent for over 15 years and living in slums will be discussed.
“The Central government has failed to implement the demonetisation effectively. It is a total failure. People who were praising Modi have realised that they were wrong,” he added.
