Mangalore: N Prakash IAS, who came to Mangalore in Dec.2012 from Bangalore as new DC has been again transferred to Bangalore as Labour Commissioner of the state Govt. Earlier he had a short stint of a month or two, before state Assembly Elections when he was shifted to Bangalore and Harsh Gupta worked as DC in 2012.

This time the new DC in his Place has not been named, but Ms. Thulasi Maddineni IAS, presently CEO in D.K ZP, will take over the duties of acting DC, according to K. Dayanand, Additional DC at Mangalore.

N. Prakash in his farewell speech informed the gathering that he was satisfied with the work done in an year with full cooperation from all his assistants. He in a kind gesture, removed his shall presented to him by officials and draped it around the shoulders of his assistant, Manohar, for the loyalty and hard work that Manohar did as a model to others in DCO.

MCC commissioner Ajith Hegde, legal advisor M B Patil, Dr Prashant, and Puttur AC Krishnamurthy were present.
