Mangalore : An overspeeding Ford Fiesta Car rammed into two shops including Sandeep Arts and Sahani Furnitures at Pumpwell on the evening of December 6, Thursday. A girl who was inside Sandeep Arts escaped unhurt during the incident.

 It is learnt,the two shops have incurred a loss of Rs 30,000 due to the damages caused.

It is learnt, the mishap took place when the car driver in a bid to overtake another vehicle tried to crash against an oncoming vehicle and swerved only to dash against the two shops.

A huge crowd gathered at the scene of the accident.  Mangalore rural police have registered a case.
