Mangalore : An over speeding KSRTC bus which was on way to the KSRTC bus stand from  Puttur knocked down a stationed Wagon R which in turn hit against a roadside transformer, opposite gold finch hotel  near Jyothi Circle here on May 27, Monday evening.Luckily no one was around when the mishap took place. Even the owner of the car was away.

The car and the transformer were badly damaged due to the impact of the collision. If the speeding bus within city limits was blamed by some, others said the haphazard parking of vehicles on roadsides too was responsible.

Traffic was disrupted for some time owing to the mishap.
