Mangalore: A building under construction by “In-land’ developers was partially damaged by some residents in Padavinangady to the extent of Rs.20000 on Friday night, because some labourers at the building teased a local girl, the police reported.

20 persons were taken into custody for deliberate lawlessness caused in the town by residents attacking the building, and not the labourers who trued to speak to the local girl in the passing. The town wore tense look in view of swift justice carried out by “law and order” department of state police.
