Mangalore: Some congress workers in North Mangalore represented by MLA Krishna Palemar, who is suspended by speaker as a tainted person, took out a large vehicular procession shouting slogans, holding Placards, and demanding Palemar’s resignation as MLA in Suratkal, on Saturday afternoon. Palemar is not in city for some days, to get over the trauma of facing opposition at home.

Dozens of motorbikes, cars and auto rickshaws were pressed in to services by hundreds of Cong activist to pull down a fallen hero in his native place, in a public rally from Suratkal to Kavoor.

Moideen Bava flagged off the vociferous rally. Bava accused Palemar of deceit, with the latter’s porn gate episode in Vidhana Sabha (assembly hall).  Palemar has lost his minister ship and is de-barred by speaker from entering the Assembly for a month.

Bava added that Palemar failed to fulfill his promises to people since 2004. He anti-people policies all the time, and fell in a stinking scandal.

Bava asked him to quit before people voted him out. KPCC Secretary Ivan (the terrible) D’Soza and ex-mayors Ashraf and S. Hegde were present.
