Mangalore : The DK district unit of the BJP released the district-level manifesto of the party for the local body polls, being held on 31st December at the BJP office on Dec 17, Tuesday.
Speaking after releasing the district-level manifesto district in charge minister J Krishna Palemar said, the BJP led state government will be able to implement the development projects if they get the similar power in the ZP and TPs.
After the election, the priority will be given to construction and repair of roads in the rural areas, providing drinking water, resolving the confusion regarding the distribution of APL and BPL cards and maintaining law and order in the district.
He also stated that the state government will not hold responsible for the bad condition of the roads on the outskirts of the city including the NH 17, NH48 and requested the voters not to point out this matter and make an issue during casting the votes.
He also assured the distressed areca growers to pressurize state government to increase the support price throughout the year.
Padmanabha Kottary, district president of the BJP, MLA Yogish Bhat and other local office-bearers of the party were present.
