Mangalore : Minister for Ports and DK district, Krishna J. Palemar suddenly appeared in Taluk Office in city on Wednesday and went through the routine of local staff, giving due respect to CM Gowda’s suggestion made last week on his home visit to clear all files within 15 days. Palemar told the Taluk Officers and staff not to keep any office file beyond 15 days, as they would brood and get corrupt over the issues involved. He warned of stern action such as suspension if any officer violated the Government norm (time-limit).
After his chilling raid on Taluk Office workers, Palemar spoke to waiting newsmen to clarify that the government staff should not create inconvenience to local people.
