District-in-charge Minister Krishna J. Palemar’s asking help from local builders for city road development has led to a number of suspicions in many, said Former MLA Vijaykumar Shetty.
He was speaking at a press meet held at District Congress Office on September 24, Saturday. He said that Palemar is planning to regularize a few illegal structures by making people depend on local builders for road repair.
Shetty also said that. Minister is not interested about the bad situation of roads within the jurisdiction of Gram Panchayats.
The state government sanctioned funds of Rs. 100 crore was used to concretize roads leading to major apartments belonging to his builder friends and he played an important role in making changes to the CDP so that people belonging to poor and middle classes remain houseless.
