Udupi: Palimar Math Sri Vidyadheeshateertha Swamiji performed ‘Bale Muhurta’ on Sunday by planting Banana saplings at Palimar Math premises. He will be ascending the Paryaya Peetha next and by performing Bale Muhurta he flagged off the rituals to ascend Pryaya Peetha.
As per the traditions four muhurta’s will be performed by the seer before ascending Paryaya Peetha. Bale Muhurta. Akki Muhurta, Kattige and Bhattha Muhurta and Tulsi and Kabbu Muhurta. Along with the Bale Muhurta Vidyadheeshateertha Swamiji also performed Tulsi and Kabbu Muhurta on Sunday itself.
Swiping machine was launched by district in-charge Minister Pramod Madhwaraj during the occasion by contributing Rs 10000 to the account of Math.
Speaking on the occasion Swamiji said that he will continue to serve the society religiously and socially after ascending Paryaya Peetha as he was doing before. He has also planned to grow a fully fledged Tulsi garden at Palimar Math premises as soon as the garden gets ready Laksha Tulsi Archana Puja will be offered on daily basis.
“My aim is to keep the surrounding clean and tidy, providing accommodation to achievers and helping the poor students who are deprived of education. I will also focus of encouraging the traditional form of education,” he said.
Minister Pramod Madhwaraj said that Swamiji has new vision to preserve the customs and tradition.
Further he lauded PM Modi for banning Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes and urged the people to work towards building a non-corrupt and cashless society.
