Mangaluru: Panambur police station head constable Bharat Poojary (42) of Someshwar, Ullal died due to illness in a Private hospital in the city on Monday.

He joined to the service in 1996 as a civil police constable. He served in Kadaba, Bajpe, Kavoor police stations.

He survived his wife and two children.

Many people gathered at Mangaluru police ground to have a final look at him on Tuesday. Police officials have consigned their condolences to Bharat’s family.
