Mangalore :  Five persons have been arrested by the Panambur police on February 22, Friday  on the charges of murdering Sandeep Poojari, a youth from Idya in Suratkal.  Sandeep’s  body was found with hands and legs tied and stuffed inside a bag  on the sea shore at Baikampady,

The arrested have been identified as Manoj (32) of Guddekopla, Naveen  of Meenakaliya, Raghavendra alias Raju (23) of Baikampady, Chethan alias Annu  and Laxmisha alias Anni (25). Police said they are on the  hunt for the three other accused namely Suresh, Sachin and Gopi.

Interrogations of the accused revealed that they had killed Sandeep as they had a previous enmity with him. Investigations are underway.
