Mangalore : The State High Court has granted anticipatory bail to Satish Baikampady, accused of murdering Mogaveera Mahasabha leader Gangadhar Pangal on Oct 21, Tuesday.

It is learnt that, Bhaskar and Harish Baikampady, brothers of Satish, and Pushparaj knocked down Pangal by using Bolero vehicle on May 14, 2014.

Since the murder, Satish had been evading arrest and Panambur police had filed a charge sheet in the court. However Satish who failed to appear after a summons had issued warrant for his arrest.

Finally, Satish has managed to get anticipatory bail. Bhaskar and Harish are also out on bail.
