Belthangady: State BJP spokesperson and DK District in-charge Minister CT Ravi has said that it was not possible to initiate disciplinary action against State BJP Chief Eshwarappa immediately despite a petition filed against him in the Lokayukta court.
Speaking to reporters on his arrival in Belthangady on December 19, Wednesday to inaugurate progress works in Ujire, the ministers said action cannot be taken as soon as allegation is heard.
On Yeddyurappa’s statement that he would go in for political oblivion if his KJP could not get more seats than BJP in the next elections, Ravi said Yeddyurappa had never gone by his words until now and nothing can be expected of him.
Speaking on the educational sector, he said the sector cannot progress without private participation. On the opposition to the proposal to have a private university in the state, he said it was due to some wrong notion.
Ravi said a multi-village drinking water project worth Rs 342 crore has been sanctioned for the district.
District BJP leaders Pratapsinh Nayak, Ravi Baremelu and others were present.
