Mangaluru : Shri Guru Raghavendra Matha, at Kavoor is now a Unit of Shri Palimaru Matha Udupi, headed by H. H. Shri Shri Vidyadheesha Teertha Swamiji. The Kumbabhishekam of Shri Guru Raghavendra Matha was held in May 2019 and due to Paryaya, H. H. Shri Shri VidyadheeshaTeerthaSwamijiwas unable to attend the function. After completing his Paryaya, His Holiness Swamiji has visited the Shri Guru Raghavendra Matha for the very first time yesterday.

As per the present need, Swamiji would like to start the construction of the Community Center at the adjacent propertywhich has been donated by Mrs. Vidya Ravichandran, President, Diya Systems, Mangalore. The purpose of this Community center is to provide additional facilities which could be used by people of all walks of life for spiritual, educational and societal projects for the benefit of devotees to perform any type of functions / celebrations / community related activities.

In it’s first phase, we intend to start the construction of the community hall with 8000 Sq. ft.estimated cost of Rs 3.5 crores, that includes a Hall, Kitchen and other amenities to cater to the local underprivileged people of the society.

Mr. Prahlad P R – Administrator Sri Palimar Matha has given the brief information about the press meet, later Swamiji has explained about the project. Dr V Ravichandran and Indira Ravichandran were present during the press meet.

Swamiji also said foundation laying ceremony is scheduled for February 7th at 8:15 am for the new community hall.
