Udupi : Yaksha Vaibhava Shyamanthopakhyana organised  organised at the Sri Krishna Mutt’s Rajangana  under the aegis of the Prasara Bharathi and Mangalore Akashavani, was inaugurated  by Sri Vishwa Vallabha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Sode Vadiraja Mutt.

In his address, the seer said Akashavani has been contributing a great deal toward promotion of art , literature and culture.

Bannanje Sanjeeva Suvarna, Teacher of Udupi  Yakshagana Kendra was the chief guest. Dr Vasanth Kumar Perla, Programme Chief of Mangalore Akashavani who presided over the function said  Akashavani had completed 85 successful years in India and was the powerful medium which reaches  majority of people through its 280 stations.

Sadananda Holla, Programme Co-ordinator of Mangalore Akashavani, Sadananda Perla and others were present.

A  Yakshagana was presented by Kota Handattu Hande Yaksha Vrinda.
