Mangalore : A passenger who landed at the Mangalore Airport in an Air India Express flight from Dubai, reportedly attacked a customs official during checking on November 5, Monday morning.

According to reports, the passenger picked up a quarrel with Rajesh , the customs superintendent and even attacked him. It is learnt, the argument was over carrying gold ornaments over and above the permitted quota. Reports say the passenger slapped the officer. He was later detained. He was let off after he tendered an oral apology, No case has been registered.
