Mangaluru: A 45-year-old man was killed on the spot after being knocked down by a private bus at Kulur on Tuesday, November 27 night.

The deceased, identified as Bhoja is a resident of Kuluru. He was working as an electrician.

As per reports Bhoja was on his way home after finishing his work when the Udupi-bound bus ran over him while attempting to overtake another vehicle. Bhoja succumbed to the injuries sustained in the mishap on the spot.

A case has been registered with North Traffic police.
