Mangalore:  A young man identified as James (23) was knocked down by a speeding bus near Nagori in Mangalore on the night of December 3, Monday, killing him on the spot.

It is learnt the bus named Phalguni was heading towards the city from Puttur when the mishap took place near Blue Park at Nagori. Locals protested as the body remained on the road for nearly 45 minutes. The deceased was said to be a resident of Nagori.
