Pejawar seer sets new deadline to withdraw land acquisitionMangalore : Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt said that he will set a new deadline of July 13 for the land acquisition by Mangalore Special Economic Zone (MSEZ) at the second phase by the government.
Speaking at the media, he said that, the government must fulfill his demand by July 13 or face protest if strict action not taken. He also said that, even though the government had stopped the land acquisition process in the second phase it has still not been withdrawn.
If Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa’s government fails d to meet the deadline, then he will stage the agitation in his own way.
Speaking on the hostel facility, he said that the Mutt has undertaken a new charitable project to provide free shelter for all caste students.
