Mangaluru : Pejawar seer Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swami is one among the 15 members, who is selected to be part of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which will overlook the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced in the Lok Sabha that a Trust has been set up for the construction of Ram Mandir on February 5.
The temple trust is named ‘Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra’ and will consist of 15 members. One of the trustees will be from the Dalit community.
Reports are pouring in about the 15 people who will be part of the trust. According to reports, 92-year-old K Parasaran, lead counsel for the Hindu parties in a temple-mosque land dispute in Ayodhya, will be one of the members. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Swami Paramanand Ji Maharaj, Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj, Vimlendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, Dr Anil Mishra, Homoeopathic Doctor, Kameshwar Chaupal, Patna (SC Member) Mahant Dinendra Das are also likely to be part of the Trust.
Vishwesha Tirtha Swami succeeded Vishwesha Tirtha Swami who passed away in December last year. He is the 35th seer in the lineage, or guruparampara, of Pejawar Math. He was born in 1964 at Haleyangady-Pakshikere in Dakshina Kannada district to Krishna Bhat and Yamunamma.
