Mangalore : The Maruthi Suzuki Auto Cross 2012 second edition was organized by Mangalore Motor Sports Association, at Bharat High School Grounds in Ullal on Jan 8, Sunday.

Sudhir B. K, president of Mangalore Motor Sports Association said the electronic laser time was applied for autocross for the rally of dirt track given the distance of 1km for 2-wheelers with 5 – 7 laps per class while it was 2 laps for all classes for 4-wheelers.

Maruthi Suzuki India Ltd. is the chief sponsor and Castrol, K and N Filter, JK Tyres, IMG Sports, and Mandovi Motors were the co-sponsors of the event.

More than 100 people from Mysore, Mangalore, Chikmagalur, Coorg, Hassan, Shimoga, and Mudigere participated in autocross.
