Byndoor: “People in the coast have become victims of Hindutva of BJP. Hindus and Muslims should avoid friction. We follow better Hindutva than BJP. We are a step ahead of BJP in Hindutva. BJP conducts elections by keeping forward emotional thoughts. BJP leaders are dreaming about the fall of government. We have inspiration from the Almighty who decides for how many days I should remain in power,” said chief minister H D Kumaraswamy during election campaign in Trasi, Udupi on Tuesday, October 30.
“I will not go home after by-election. What Yeddyurappa says will not happen. I will come to the house of poor people and hold discussions with them. There is sufficient money in government treasury. The treasury of state government has not become empty. Father and children should be defeated in by -election,” he added.
In a similar election campaign for Shivamogga Lok Sabha election, he asked what Kumar Bangarappa has done for the district by being the son of Bangarappa. “What is the contribution of Kumar Bangarappa for the state? We do not need to ask for votes by misusing the name of late Bangarappa. Madhu Bangarappa has prepared a layout of Bangarappa memorial,” he said.
CM Kumaraswamy in a statement in Udupi referring to ‘Me too’ allegations against Kumar Bangarappa, said that he will not discuss personal matters during elections. “Let us discuss political issues if any. The taste of Kumar Bangarappa is exposed. Let there be discussions on developments during elections. I am capable of facing all,” he said.
The chief minister in another statement in Byndoor, Udupi referring to the statement by Janardhan Reddy that their family’s tears are responsible for the death of the son of Siddaramaiah, said that he will not speak personal matters. “It only shows small mindedness of BJP and bad taste of Janardhan Reddy.”
