Mangalore : Hajamma, a Perne gas Tragedy victim, succumbed to her injuries in a hospital near Mangalore. She was victim of Perne gas tragedy of April 9th and battling for her life in the ICU of a hospital in Mangalore for the last fifteen days. She incurred 30% burns in the incident.  

Hajamma, aged 70 was a widow and living with her 6 children’s  at Perne. Hajamma’s daughter in law Safia was also injured in the accident but recovering in the hospital. The three month old child of Safia escaped miraculously.  

The total number of people killed in this incident   amounts to 11 so far.
