Mangalore : The death toll in the gas tanker mishap at Perne near Uppinangady  has increased to 10 with another injured Indira(40), a housewife passing away after battling for life for nearly five days. She had sustained 60 per cent burn injuries in the mishap.

On April 12, Friday, Vimala, an Anganavadi worker succumbed to the injuries.  The condition of one Hajima (70) who has sustained 50 per cent burn injuries, is still critical while  her daughter-in-law Safiya has suffered 30 per cent injuries and is under treatment at a Puttur hospital.

Others who died in this tragedy are Shobha, Vanitha, Chitresh, Sunil,  Vasanth, Khateejamma and tanker driver Cheluvaras.
