Mangalore : The members of Popular Front of India organized a protest in front of the DC office on April 20, Sunday against the fake encounter of Kabeer by ANF personnel near Shringeri check post on April 19, Saturday.

Addressing the protest rally, PFI leader Shafi Bellare said that the attack of Kabir by ANF police is a planned one who has joined hands with the Bhajrangdal activists.

He also said that the present government has failed protect the minorities. The government must take serious action against the ANF team who was involved in such act and must be suspended immediately. He urged the state government to hand over the case to the CBI.

Shafi also said that the government must provide more compensation to Kabeer’s family and demanded to provide job for Kabir’s brother.

The PFI activists raised slogans against state government, Bhajrang Dal and Sangh Parivar demanding justice.
