Mangalore : The Popular Front of India has taken strong exception to reports in a media that the organization had received aid from Sangh Parivar to its recent programme ‘ Why Popular Front?” at Nehru Maidan.
Addressing press persons in Mangalore, several PFI leaders including Abdul Razak, Ataullah Jokatte., Shahul and Nazeer said that the report in the media aimed at tarnishing the image of the PFI, which, they said have been striving for a noble cause since 23 years. They said the allegations of a secret pact between the PFI and Sangh Parivar aimed at weakening the organization.
The PFI leaders have even demanded an unconditional apology from an eveninger from Mangalore for publishing the report and have threatened to take to legal recourse otherwise.
