Mangalore : Popular Front of India will observe 20th anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition as Anti-Fascist Day throughout the nation on December 6. The PFI activists will reach out to people on the day conveying the message “Forget not Babri Masjid” by poster campaigning, distribution of leaflets and public programmes.
Speaking at the press meet held at Hotel Woodlands Hall on Dec 6, Thursday Abdul Razak Kemmara, state committee member of PFI said that in this regard a dharna will be held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on the day demanding to rebuild Babri Masjid and punish the culprits who were responsible for its destruction 20years ago on 6 December 1992. Popular Front chairman E. M. Abdul Rahiman and other leaders will address the dharna.
The Central Secretariat of Popular Front of India has reminded that the asking Muslims to forget Babri Masjid are insult to injury. Along with Muslims, every citizen of this great nation shall not forget Babri Masjid. Forgetting it would only help the growth of communalism and fascism. Our country has witnessed 20 years of betrayal.
Razak said that Popular Front urged that justice which is denied so far cannot be further delayed. The Central Secretariat called upon all Indians to pledge together to strive for justice on this 20th anniversary occasion of the Babri Masjid demolition which was a crime against minority community, humanity and nation.
