Mangalore : In yet another instance aimed at disturbing communal peace, a pig’s head was found at the gate of the Jumma Masjid of Ganemmar near Badagabail, Ammunje in Bantwal taluk. Incidentally, this is the fourth such incident reported from the region in the past few days.

Hundreds of people flocked the area on gathering the news. Though there is no information as to who were the culprits, it certainly aimed at disturbing harmony, feel locals.

The  situation remained tense and Bantwal rural police  have stepped up security arrangements.

Investigations are underway and a case has been registered as per a complaint lodged by a member of the masjid committee Bedridden.
