Mangaluru : In view of Kambala being held in Pilikula on Nov 17th and 18th, preparations were reviewed at Kambala Lake on Monday.
Under the leadership of MLAs Umanatha Kotyan, Manjunath Bhandari and DC Mullai Muhilan MP, they visited Pilikula Kambala Lake and inspected the facilities and preparations to be undertaken.
Renovation of Kambal Lake is almost complete. On this occasion, it was reviewed about the facilities required for the corners participating in the Kambala, building the necessary basic facilities for the public coming to watch the Kambala.
The officers of Pilikula Nisargadham Authority should supervise the Kambala preparations, parking arrangements for vehicles should be provided by Mangalore city Corporation, electricity, toilets and other facilities should be provided by Pilikula Authority, the DC said.
Construction of the entrance, electrical decoration of the Kambala and other arrangements should be made in the background of the Kambala. He said that proper arrangements should be made to manage the crowd.
He said that more than 150 more pairs of Buffalo will participate in this Kambala meeting and more than 25 thousand people are expected to participate.
Mangalore City Corporation Commissioner CL Anand, Pilikula Development Authority Commissioner Rashmi, Assistant Director of Youth Services and Sports Department Pradeep D’Souza, Zilla Kambala Committee President Devi Prasad Shetty, Naveen Chandra Alva, Prashant Kajava and others were present.
