Mangaluru: Pilikula’s popular Regional Science Centre, is all set to open an ’Innovation Hub’ on its premises to encourage young minds to go deep into the scientific process and innovation.

A press release states that the innovation hub is one of the many activities being promoted by the Union and State governments to encourage student participation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. The hub would have facilities to conduct laboratory tests and encourage students to opt for further research.

Students as well as teachers may visit the hub, undertake various projects and get guidance in the field of their interest.

The hub would encourage students to participate in science-related competitions. The facilities would also help them to confidently take national-level science, engineering and technical examinations.

Interested students and teachers may visit the Science Centre and contact the officials concerned for more details. Other organisations, professional colleges, resource persons and researchers who are interested in sharing their knowledge with students may contact the centre.
