Mangalore:  The dumping yard of refuse materials(or junk) including plastics, has left a blanket of smoke in Pachanady, near Vamanjoor on Monday, February 6 at night(8PM), where a major fire had broken out. The fire remains with a thick carpet of smoke to inhale for those who fight the fire this morning.

MCC workers make a compost out of waste by burning the littered materials, but this time fire went out of control, probably due to winds.

Six fire-dousing squads in vehicles are in service from Kadri and even Pandeshwar stations. The plastic pieces keep smoking.

Firemen are digging the ground with a JCB machine to Control the blaze and the Smoke. People nearby suffer as they never would.
