New Delhi: As the freight and passenger railway fares are undisturbed, the new Railway Budget for 2011-12 could help to control inflation in circulation of money, says Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, talking to newsmen today.
It is a common man’s pet budget. Its role in arresting inflation is great, he added, after the Railway Minister had presented her latest Budget for 2011-12.
By announcing increase in developmental investments, to increase basic amenities for passengers, Mamta Didi has inaugurated a new growth all over the country, he commented.
The PM lauded her that she had done a good job in the midst of certain allegations and expectations from people, he gleefully accepted.
