Mangaluru : The 10 days Brahmakalashotsava rituals of the 1700-year-old, historical Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple of Polali will start from March 10 to 13.

Thousands of devotees are thronging the temple to take part in Brahmakalashotsava the celebrations, the variety entertainment programmes also be held in the evenings.

The celebrations that will go on till March 13, several traditional rituals like Homa, Bimbashuddi, Dwarashanti, Ankura Pooja, Durga Pooja, Kundashuddadi and Mahapooja were held.

The various items like Moga, Kadsale, Mukawada and idol of Kodamanithaya Daiva were handed over to the temple by the Ulipadiguthu.
