Mangalore : Police have arrested one Kiran in connection with the murder of a chicken stall worker at Durganangar, Ekkar near Bajpe on November 27, Tuesday.

It is learnt, the accused Kiran also worked for the same chicken stall, but had been suspended five years ago. Reports said  Kiran nurtured hatred against Siddappa, the victim, thinking he was responsible for his losing his job.

Police said on Monday night the  two engaged in a quarrel and Kiran then killed Siddappa with the help of Shivananda who is now absconding.
