Kasargod : Three persons who were trying to escape after making a vain bid to outrage the modesty of a woman at Sulliapadavu on Karnataka –Kerala border on January 9, Wednesday, were trapped by the public and handed over to the police.

It is said the three persons had asked water with a woman and then tried to molest her. Public gathered when the woman began to shout. The trio tried to escape, but tripped and fell and were caught.

They have been identified as  Shabeer, Aboobakker and Kabir from Kasargod.
Eshwaramangala police who registered a case have transferred the case to Adoor police station.
