Mangalore : Seven persons has arrested in connection with the murder of  Ijaz alias Ijja, resident of Adyar ,  who was hacked to death at Kannur on Friday,  police arrested the accused from Bantwal  on November 1.

Mangalore rural police have arrested  Iaz alias Zia (30), resident of Adyarkatte, Mohammad Fazal (20), resident of Ganadabettu, Musthaq (30), resident of Yousufnagar, Mohammad Aniz (22), Hasanabba (29) and Azmal (21) and Mazid (21) residents of Kannur.

One Maruti Alto car and five machetes  have siezed from the arrested persons.

The postmortem report revealed that the deceased had 32 wound marks on his body. Ijaz, one of the 19 accused in Puthu Monu murder case in 2012. He also  involved in ganja trafficking, it was said.
