Mangaluru : The Mangaluru rural police have raided a home stay in Maroli and detained Eight boys and four girls who were partying inside the house on Thursday night.
Sources said that, the students of an engineering college from Bengaluru was conducted a party after they visit beaches. They had taken the home stay to spend the night and were reportedly planning to go back to Bengaluru the next day.
As per the locals the girls and boys had come to the home stay on Wednesday, March 25 and have been disturbing them by playing loud music.
The disturbed locals informed the police as well as activists of a right wing organisation. As the news spread few activists from right wing group also arrived at the spot.
Later the police arrived at the spot had to climb the wall of the home stay to enter the house as the main gate was locked.
It is said, the party was going on at the top floor of the house. The team of Circle Inspector Pramod Kumar including one lady officer was entered spot and detained the boys and girls.
The youngsters were taken to the police station. The police informed about the incident to the parents. One of the parents had come to the police station on Friday morning, police sources said.
