Kasaragod : Three accused in connection with the murder of madrassa teacher Muhammad Riaz Maulavi (30) in Kasaragod have been arrested by a special investigation team, on Thursday.

The team led by Kannur Crime Branch, SP Dr. A Sreenivasan has nabbed Ajeesh, Nithin and Akhilesh of Kasargod district in connection with the brutal murder.

The triohas been arrested in connection with the murder of the madrasa teacher at Pazhaya Choori in Kasargod district at mid night on last Monday. The deceased was a native of Kodagu and a teacher at the Juma Masjid at Pazhaya Choori who was found dead on Monday mid night at his residence near the mosque. The three accused have admitted the act they committed before the investigation team.
