Mangalore : In connection to the deaths of Shailesh, owner of Akshaya Finance, wife and daughter at Hoigebail, Urwa Chilimbi, police have registered two cases against three.

Urwa police have booked Shailesh with murder case under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 302 for killing wife, Savitha, and daughter, Vidyalaxmi.

The police have also charged three others including Uday, Rajesh Shetty, and Anil relating to abetment to suicide under IPC section 306.

It is learnt that, Shailesh had ice cream laced with poison to his wife and daughter before committing suicide by hanging himself on August 14, Thursday. Shailesh had named Uday and two others in the four-page suicide note left behind. He also stated that Uday even filed a complaint against him with police in this regard. This made him and his family to take such a step.

Urwa police have registered a case and investigating is on.
